One of the core values of Mosaic is to practice "strategic service" in our community.  We make our faith relevant by serving the hurting, homeless, the marginalized, forgotten, and less fortunate in Santa Maria. 

We have three major partners in Santa Maria that we serve:

1.  Domestic Violence Solutions - DVS provides emergency shelter services, transitional housing, educational services and advocacy for the abused.  Emergency on-call services are provided in partnership with our local law enforcement.

Service projects with DVS have included a complete remodel of the emergency shelter to provide a warm and welcoming environment for those escaping abuse. We throw an annual Christmas party complete with Santa for the kids and moms that includes a buffet dinner, gifts, and fun. Click for Video.

2.  Community Partners in Caring - CPC provides local services for the elderly and shut-ins in the community.  They offer free rides to the doctor, minor repairs, meals, and any other service our seniors may need. 

Service projects have included multi-site yard clean-up, furniture moving, asset liquidation, home repair, and visitation. Click for Video.

3. Good Samaritan Shelter - Good Sam provides services and shelter to the homeless population, a detox center for those abusing alcohol and/or drugs and other vital solutions.

Service projects have included barbeques for the shelter staff and shelter residence. Painting the entire exterior of the shelter and providing encouragement to the staff.  Click for Video.
